This survey is designed to collect valuable feedback and information about the implementation of Small-Sided Games.
For the purpose of this survey, the information you provide should relate to the youngest child in your family participating in Small-Sided Games in 2008.
Eg: You may have 3 children who played for the same football club in 2008:
- 12 year old playing in U12 competition.
- 7 year old playing U7's SSG
- 6 year old playing U6's SSG
The feedback provided should relate to the experiences of the youngest child (6 year old playing U6's SSG).
Just a couple of quick points of note to think about while answering the questions in the survey:
- SSG is aimed at promoting enjoyment and maximum participation for all involved.
- Games on the weekend should promote fun and participation over the end result. Competition tables and finals should not be promoted or be the focus.
- Coaches should encourage all players to participate and provide each player with equal playing time.
- Parents are encouraged to support the children and provide a positive, non-threatening environment for children to participate in.
